Zdravilišče Rogaška is primarily a health resort, located in the southeast part of Slovenia, near the Croatian border. The resort is especially well-known for it its thermal, mineral water. It is the richest mineral water in magnesium in the world. Additionally, it has a high concentration of dissolved rock (magnesium, calcium…) and CO2, which are beneficial for overall health.
The beginnings of the resort can be traced back to year 1676, but locals have been using the water for health-related purposes even before.
Rogaška health resort offers a wide variety of health programmes, wellness treatments and massages. Guests can go for a swim in one of the pools and enjoy in six different saunas the hotel offers.
Since the hotel is located right at the centre of the city, there are many options for exploring the surrounding area. Tourists can take a walk around the historic city centre, visit the local glass house or the nearby vineyard.
